Nothing will replace tactile materials, and no level of advanced technology can match the feeling of flipping an actual page, or replace good product design and paper engineering. There’s an absence of care nowadays when it comes to aesthetics and how things are presented- but so long as I have something to say about it, I’ll remain on the side of giving a sh*t 🙂

Pop-outs are just as fascinating to me today as they were when I was a kid. I think there’s something that mesmerizes all of us about folding and un-folding objects. I think there’s a part of our perfectionist brains that enjoys the geometry and math of it. I’d love to work more in this medium, if a project called for it and if any publishers wanted to get fancy about it.

I have this fantasy, perhaps for an IP like Globby Goobies, to create and include small peper kits, that can be cut and folded into chunks of terrain. I’d like collectors to be able to build a paper city of their very own!
