My dearest lads. When I was 19, I came up with a ‘Pitch Bible’ for a Cartoon Network show. I was a bit naive, but nonetheless, thought it’d be a good idea to first turn it into a comic. That way, at least it existed. Plus, I figured comics are so commonly converted into animated shows anyways.

I launched two Kickstarters, both of which were successful, and I went on to sell a couple thousand copies of the books thereafter on my website and at conventions. It was a remarkable experience, and I learned more from it than I ever thought I would have.

You can see the Cartoon Network and Adventure Time influences from a mile away. And that’s good. I wouldn’t be the artist I am without those shows, so all credit where credit is due.
